(The exploratory trip by road from Bangkok to the south with beach holiday in Phuket.)
The Southern part of Thailand is renowned for its long-white sand beach, beautiful crystal sea, and people's unique way of life.
On this trip, we will drive along the eastern coast of the south from Bangkok to Chumporn. Then change the direction of travelling to the western coast, past Ranong, Kuraburi, Takua Pa to Phuket.
This trip is a mixture of nature,culture, and adventure elements which allow you to observe beautiful landscapes and people's way of living along the way from the central plain to the southern part of Thailand. Besides hightlight places to visit, the trip will give you a once in a life time experience from many unusual activities such as to visit a Thai traditional community on the canal in Samut Songkram, join a fisherman boat trip for squid catching with seafood BBQ on board in Chumporn, visit the largest and richest mangrove forest of souteast Asia in Ranong, or visit islanders of Ko Maprow (about 15 minutes by long-tailed boat from Phuket) to observe their daily life activities including fish raising, rubber plantation, and seafood home factory.
And of course, the end of the trip is your relax time on one of the world's best beach before return to Bangkok by flights.
Itinerary :
Day 1 Bangkok - Samut Songkram (Wat Sathatham & Tha Ka Village incl. boat trip along small canals) - Petchaburi (Wat Yai Suwannaram) - Overnight at the Royal Diamond Hotel in the township of Petchburi (L,D)
Day 2 Petchaburi ( Phra Nakorn Kiri Historical Park) - Prachuap Kirikhan (Hwa Ko Scientific Center) - Chumporn (boat trip on the sea for squid catching & seafood BBQ - this activity may be canceled in monsoon season June-October, but special seafood BBQ dinner will be offered instead ) - Overnight at Chumporn Cabana Resort (B,L,D)
Day 3 Chumporn (Fruit Orchards) - Ranong (La-Un mangrove forest & waterfalls & view points) - Kuraburi - Overnight Kuraburi Green View Resort (B,L,D)
Day 4 Kuraburi - Takua Pa (sightseeing small & nice district) - Phuket (boat trip to visit Maprow islanders - fish raising, rubber plantation, seafood home factory & home-made lunch) - Overnight Karon Beach Resort ( B,L)
Day 5 Phuket - Karon Beach Resort (B)
Day 6 Phuket - Karon Beach Resort (B)
Day 7 Phuket - Karon Beach Resort - take the domestic flight return to Bangkok - then take the connecting flight for departure (B)

Things to bring: warm clothes in Winter (Nov.-Jan.), rain coat in the Rainy Season (Jun.- Oct.), ,casual clothes: short pants & shirt, wet shoes,sun cream ,sun glasses, hat, personal medicine.
